How to stop the spread of drees, wood pellets and other harmful chemicals
The dree, also called the wood pelleted toothbrush, was introduced in the U.S. by the Wood Products Company in the 1930s.
The company, which makes drees and toothbrushes, says its products have a “tough coating that resists rust and mildew.”
The product is made by adding wood chips, sand and mineral powder to a water bath and drying process.
The wood chips are then pressed into a thin coating of wood, a process that takes about 20 minutes.
The product can be used for brushing teeth, brushing on the back of the neck, or even for making toothpaste, but there’s a downside: dree wood products are often hard to clean, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
“If you’re using a dree product, the product could be contaminated by a harmful substance,” said Lori Gannam, a spokeswoman for the commission.
“You need to use a hand cleaner to remove that contaminant and you need to wash your hands thoroughly after using it.”
A 2011 report by the commission found that dree products are used in homes with no scrubbing stations or scrubbers.
“It’s not uncommon for homes with dree systems to have a scrubber installed in the bathroom, but the dree system is still used in these facilities,” Gannams told FoxNews.com.
“This may have led to the use of dree detergents in some cases.”
Wood pellets, which are made from wood chips that have been treated with chemicals to soften them, are used by wood manufacturers to make furniture and other items.
According to the U., Drees products have been linked to the development of more than 150 cases of salmonella, as well as several cases of hepatitis A, according the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“The most commonly used type of wood pellets is the wood pellets called balsa,” Gainam said.
“Balsa is a softer wood that’s used to make products such as wood floors, flooring, cabinets and so on.”
Drees wood pellets are commonly found in kitchen cabinets and bathrooms, according Gannamas.
“They’re used to help seal off the wood floors and so they’re also used for the kitchen,” she said.
While wood pellets may not cause any harm to the environment, the EPA says they can be toxic to the lungs, kidneys and liver.
Wood pellets are also used in some consumer products, including wood-based nail polish.
“Pellets, when they are mixed with water, create a very strong alkaline solution that is often used to soften and harden wood products and to remove some of the oils and other chemicals that have come with wood,” Gainsam said, according with the commission’s website.
In 2016, the U of I and the Illinois Department of Health were among several states that issued health warnings to customers after an outbreak of salivary tuberculosis in an Illinois community, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The dree is also used by many people for personal care products, such as shaving cream, toothpaste and toothpaste for kids.
The EPA said that products made from drees can be made to last for years.
“In some cases, these products may be used in the same home for years and in some instances over time, they may degrade and get brittle,” the agency said in a statement.
Some drees have also been used to produce paper products and paperboard.
In 2018, a company in Texas made a drees board with the name “Gardening in the Woods” that was supposed to be a new addition to the store’s furniture section, according ABC affiliate KATC.
When used in such products, drees wood pellets can be highly toxic, the CPSC said.
Products that contain drees pellets are supposed to use the “most stringent cleaning practices,” according to Gannas website.
“Drees pellets can cause toxic metals and other contaminants to enter the body,” the company said.
